The North Texas chapter is one of the newest WEN chapters. We are excited to offer valuable networking opportunities in Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding metropolitan areas. We are actively working to schedule events for our members to attend throughout the 2010 calendar year.

Message from WEN-NT President - Lori Ward

We have made great strides this year in organizing WEN's North Texas Chapter and look forward to building our membership.  We are excited about being able to reach out to women in this part of Texas, home to many premier energy companies.  We believe women energy professionals who are devoting their careers to energy and making a major contribution to the success of the industry deserve a forum of their own.

We plan to offer educational programs to our members with keynote speakers, luncheons, networking events and fundraisers.  These opportunities will offer women in North Texas a chance to meet others in diverse sectors of the industry.

Members also will be able to mentor energy professionals who are either new to the industry or who will join the industry in the next few years.  Our members want to do all they can to help more women reach leadership positions in energy.
