Frequent Member Referral Rewards

A key mission of your Women’s Energy Network is to reach out to women in all sectors of our industry to provide an opportunity to connect with each other and to develop leadership skills. To further WEN’s outreach, we are announcing a new member initiative in 2009 – Frequent Member Referral Rewards – to recognize members who help spread WEN’s message.

WEN will waive the registration fee for an event (excluding Annual Wine Tasting and Charity Luncheon events) for the 3 non-Board members each quarter who provide the largest number of qualifying referrals. For a referral to qualify, the applicant must not have been a prior member and must fulfill membership requirements within the quarter. And as an added bonus, your referral will count twice if the applicant is with a “Chronicle Top 100 Companies” not currently having membership in WEN. The only other stipulation is that a member may not receive the award in two consecutive quarters.

WEN Members Selected for Lunch with an Executive

Congratulations to Cindy Sebald of El Paso Energy and Meg Leachman with SNC-Lavalin, the members selected to participate in WEN’s “Lunch with an Executive” initiative. These renewing members will join NATCO’s Cheryl Chartier for a networking lunch sponsored by WEN. The Women’s Energy Network continues to foster networking for women across the energy industry and will be developing even more opportunities among smaller groups of members as the year progresses.
