Members of WEN are actively involved in the community all across Houston. WEN is pleased to sponsor chosen charities and bring its members information on volunteer opportunities in local organizations. Since 2000, WEN has supported and raised money through charity events for organizations such as Women Helping Women, Girls Inc, and the Houston Area Women’s Center.

This Program will provide an opportunity for WEN members to enrich their careers by expanding their networks, growing their knowledge and diversifying their experience. WEN members who wish to be mentored (“mentees”) will identify specific learning goals and will be matched in mentoring circles with WEN mentors who will work with them to achieve those goals. Mentors and mentees will work together from October 2007 to March 2008. A team chaired by the WEN Vice-President will match WEN members who have applied to be mentees in mentoring circles with interested WEN mentors who best meet their learning goals.
